Three Little Strategies in Millionaire Marketing

What is money? A child might say that its something rich people have and poor people dont. An engineer might go into a detailed and lengthy explanation, but we all know that money is what really makes the world go around.

In the business world, money is the definition of success or failure. Thats why its vitally important that every entrepreneur has a good understanding of money even if their business is still struggling to get off the ground.

Have you ever noticed that people who have a lot of money are magnets for more money? Ive listened to the gripes and accusations of onlookers who accuse them of being born with a silver spoon in their mouth among other things, but its more than that. The secret is that they UNDERSTAND money.

Financially successful people can spot opportunities to create more money in a heartbeat. They understand the money system and how it works. They know the magic of creating money. They have experience under their belt.

Understanding money is a key ingredient to becoming someone who has money, and fortunately its getting easier instead of harder to do just that. Think about it. A checking and savings account used to be the only options within realistic reach of the average Joe. If youve been paying attention, you know that theres an amazing menu of options available at any bank or savings and loan company you walk into.

What does that mean? Its time to get busy and become students of money. If were going to have a lot of it, we need to understand how to invest and manage it. I can already hear it So what if you dont have much to manage and invest at the moment! Prepare for the future

Here are 3 easy steps to get started

1. Think like a millionaire

I know thats tough to do, when youre struggling just to pay for your overhead, but attitude is half of the battle. If you think like successful business owner, youll soon find out that money really is attracted to the rich.

2. Become Financially Literate

There are a million-and-one self help books on the market for people looking for information on money investments. Learn from the best. Find a few reputable authors and read, read, read. Subscribe to money magazines and The Wall Street Journal. Read what the rich read.

3. Make Informed Decisions

Once you know the ins and outs of the money world and have studied the successes and failures of others, its time to put your knowledge to work. When the opportunity knocks, youll be ready to open the door and greet it with a confident smile.

Your new knowledge and attitude will make you a marketer to be reckoned with. No more slouching around and pointing fingers at the rich marketer down the block. Youll be one of them. Youll have the tools to use every opportunity to create more success.

Finding Ideal Keywords

You should never tackle a list of keywords without first analyzing traffic and competition. Its a waste of time and resources to focus on keywords that are too competitive or dont get enough searches.

There is a specific formula I use to determine which keywords I want to focus on:

At least 1,000 monthly searches

No more than 30,000 pages in Google in quotes

No more than 10,000 results for allintitle

When you get your list of keywords from the Google keyword tool, it will tell you approximately how many searches each phrase receives each month. I dont generally use keywords that have less than 1,000 searches per month, because they dont usually bring enough traffic to justify the effort.

Next, you have to assess the competition. You want to make sure to target phrases you have a good chance to rank for, otherwise youre wasting your time, because you probably wont be able to rank on the first page if there is too much competition.

There are two steps to assessing competition. First, you need to find out how many people are using each keyword phrase on their pages. You do this by entering the keyword into Google in quotes. This will tell you how many other pages contain that exact phrase.

As you can see in the image above, the phrase keyword in quotes is used on about 6,090 other pages. This means you should have a fairly easy time ranking on the first page for that phrase.

Next, you need to see how strong those other competitors are. Google and other search engines usually give a tremendous amount of weight to the words appearing in the title of the HTML document, so you need to see how many of those pages are also using the phrase in their title.

This is done by entering this into Google:

allintitle:keyword in quotes

As you can see from this image, only 3 pages have the phrase keyword in quotes in the title. This is great news if you want to rank for that phrase, because it means you will almost certainly be able to rank on the first page for that phrase if you use the phrase in your title.

After you have used all of the keyword phrases you found that fit the main criteria, you can expand and use other keywords. Just stick to those that do fit the criteria in the beginning, because you will get better rankings quickly, so you can start seeing traffic and income sooner.

There are automated tools that make keyword research easier, but you will have to invest some money if you want to use them. For example, Market Samurai makes it very fast and easy to find and assess keywords, but it is pricey.

Mobile Marketing for Dummies

Keeping track of the many different ways that companies can market their products and brands in the modern age is getting more and more difficult. Its getting to the point where there is no conceivable shortage of ways to market your products, but the bigger problem is that theres so many ways that figuring out the best ones for your business and how they all work can be quite a chore. Were here to help.

Mobile marketing is the cutting edge of advertising right now. The term mobile marketing tends to refer to one of two ideas: the first one being marketing through mobile devices such as cell phones, and the second one marketing through physically moving objects, such as moving billboards or road shows.

For the intents and purposes of these articles, were going to spend most of our time discussing the first variety of mobile marketing. Getting on board with the second variety is simple enough at its very base, you could just nail a sign on the side of a truck and that would fall under the second variety of mobile marketing.

The first kind of mobile marketing, on the other hand, is becoming increasingly popular and breaking into it as a startup company is one of the best ways to hit the marketplace with a bang. Mobile marketing has entered the stage where its still considered somewhat revolutionary and a definite novelty, but is also mainstream enough that most of the younger crowd will be receptive to the marketing.

Most forms of mobile marketing are centered around mobile phones. Part of the reasoning why mobile marketing has taken off so much in the past few years has been the advent and popularity of smartphones. With the technology of phones and computers merging as rapidly as they have over the past few years, it should come as no surprise that the marketing wave generated by the spread of personal computers and the increasingly ubiquitous nation of the Internet is starting to spread out into the mobile phone.

If you are a startup company, particularly one who is trying to market to the thirty five and younger set, taking a foray out into mobile marketing via cell phones and smartphones is an excellent choice if youre looking to make your products and brand stand on the cutting edge. Its important to keep up with the times when it comes to marketing, particularly when youre working as a startup. Its more important than ever to make a serious impression on the market when youre first launching yourself into it as a business and mobile marketing is one way to make that happen.

Eye-Catching Colors: A Big Hit in Printing Services

People are basically visual creatures. They are easily turned on by what they see. The outrageousness of the design, graphics and colors teases their sense of sight. It sends excitement and thrill that generates more appetite to stare longer and be charmed.

Among design, graphics and color, the latter is the most difficult to show accurately. This is because color perception can be affected by lots of factors. First, it depends on the structure of a persons eye. The viewer may be colorblind. Colorblindedness may vary. It can be either slight or acute. Another factor is the impact of one color to another when placed side by side. This can happen either through reflection or visual illusion. How do this happen? To make a clear notion, you can practice this: hold a bright red colored paper or object right next to a white piece of paper. Do this near a sunny window. As you can observe, the paper turns into a pastel color of red which is pink.

With regards to printing services, colors vary. Colors may not match especially if you use different printing services, some may use CMYK while others prefer Pantone colors. Colors may also vary between presses. It depends on the setup or calibration used. Thus, if your printed materials were printed on different machines or at different interval, the appearance may vary.

To minimize inaccuracies and misrepresentations, you can use or ask your printer to use the Pantone Matching System (PMS) colors. With this printing process, the exact colors of your logo or graphics can be had. You can also select from a wide array of paper choices that have different textures and colors. However, this process is more expensive compared to the 4 Color Printing and is limited up to three colors only.

4 Color Printing otherwise known as full-color printing or process color printing uses CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) inks in printing. They are printed as tiny dots called screen or line screen. These dots create a miniature rainbow of colors. If your printing job needs a wide range of colors like photograhy, you can use 4 Color Printing. One of the latters drawback though is that it is also limited in a way that it cannot produce metallics and very bright colors.

If you want to produce match proofs of your colors and to ensure that the colors are close to each other, compare first the colors of 4 Color Printing and Pantone. There are also books that show how Pantone colors will translate to CMYK. These books can help you translate Pantone colors into CMYK so that your print jobs can be had in the most economical way.

Colors can capture the rage of an individuals zeal and let him get lost in it. Be sure to keep your colors teasing and haunting!

Social Media For Offline Business Through Forums

A social media outlet that people often overlook is the forum. While sites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and LinkedIn get a lot of attention when people are focusing on social media, many people forget about the saliency of forums when it comes to making a reputation for your business online.

The great thing about a forum is that its an easy place to establish a reputation of expertise. What you should absolutely not do is join a forum and start spamming it with ads for your business. This will only annoy the other users of the forum, and could possibly end up getting your account deleted by the moderators of the forum itself.

The best way to use a forum is to join one that is specifically related to your area of interest and product sales and start offering advice. For example, if you own a car dealership, you should look for dealership-related forums that pertain to the kinds of autos you sell. Then, you put in the address of your website or social media profile in the signature area of your profile and start answering questions. Giving out advice for free sounds like it might not be the best way to end up producing revenue, but once you can establish yourself as an expert on the forums, you can start drawing people into being curious about your products and services. After all, if youre so helpful on the forum, you might have something useful to offer in the realm of sales, as well.

Another way to drum up trust in your business area using forums is to create your own forum. Of course, youll need to go through proper advertising channels in order to make people aware of your forum, but this is a great thing to announce on your Twitter feeds and Facebook profiles! If you can get a lively forum going that is directly attached to the website you have for your offline business, its a great way to get traffic to your site and a lot more customers, since youll have daily traffic to the forum. A successful forum might even have thousands of hits per day!

Establishing a reputation of excellence and expertise is the lifeblood of any small business. As its likely that youre competing with a big box store of some sort, your bread and butter is the personal touch that you can add to your customers experience. When the business is online, or when youre advertising your offline business online, a great place to show that you actually do possess both excellence and expertise is by engaging people on forums. In this way, you start building relationships of trust with the online contingent, and draw them further into your store and products.

Creating Better Content Could Be All The Spark Your Blog Needs

If you are an active blogger, you are probably doing everything you can to drive traffic. Those of you new to the game are probably building backlinks, blog commenting, on twitter, building facebook fan pages, social bookmarking etc.. This is all great and is something I take part in myself. Ever so often though I take a step back and look at what I am really accomplishing. All of these things take time, could your time be spent better elsewhere? I think so, I think it is time that people rededicate themselves to content creation.

It is easy to get caught up in something like Twitter. It is almost like a video game. Your quest is to engage people and get them to follow you. The only problem is I have seen people use it so voraciously that they forget they need content to direct their followers to. What good are five thousand followers if you have nothing to offer them? Next time you find yourself spending an hour on twitter, think about how much more effective a new blog post might be. You don’t have to keep up with every tweet, just log in when you can and join the flow. Make a deal with yourself; don’t log into Twitter until you have a new blog post up, then when you jump into the conversation you will have something to share.

Social Bookmarking is another potential time sink. I know people that will submit to every bookmarking service you can imagine. Digg, Stumbleupon and Reddit I totally understand. I even get why people use Mixx and other semi-popular services. It is when people start getting into sites like Nujij, BobrDobr, Mr. Wongs and etc… that I start to wonder when diminishing returns sets in. In the time it takes you to do all of that social bookmarking could you be creating more content? Instead of submitting to every single social bookmarking site, maybe it is more helpful to submit to just the big guys. Then you can spend the rest of your time creating content that you can once again submit to them.

I really think people sometimes lose site of the important things. Promoting your blog is without a doubt an integral part of being a blogger. Traffic rules, right? In my opinion, the quickest way to traffic is through more content. More content means promoting your site is easier because you simply have more to promote. Instead of five articles receiving Digg traffic, you can have 50. Every blog post you make has the chance to go viral or rank in the search engines as well.

Take the time to reevaluate the results you are getting with your promotion. If you have hit a plateau then it is time to up your content, not your promotion. Give it a try and see how effective rededicating yourself to content creation can be.

Reasons To Sell Ebooks

It’s not true that everything that has been said has already been written. Since that unfortunate axiom came into use, the whole universe has changed. Technology has changed, ideas have changed, and the mindsets of entire nations have changed.

The fact is that this is the perfect time to write an E-Book. What the publishing industry needs are people who can tap into the world as it is today innovative thinkers who can make the leap into the new millennium and figure out how to solve old problems in a new way. E-Books are a new and powerful tool for original thinkers with fresh ideas to disseminate information to the millions of people who are struggling to figure out how to do a plethora of different things.

Let’s say you already have a brilliant idea, and the knowledge to back it up that will enable you to write an exceptional E-Book. You may be sitting at your computer staring at a blank screen wondering, “Why? Why should I go through all the trouble of writing my E-Book when it’s so impossible to get anything published these days?

Well, let me assure you that publishing an E-Book is entirely different than publishing a book in print. Let’s look at the specifics of how the print and cyber publishing industry differ, and the many reasons why you should take the plunge and get your fingers tapping across those keyboards!

Submitting a print book to conventional publishing houses or to agents is similar to wearing a hair shirt 24/7. No matter how good your book actually is, or how many critique services and mentor writers have told you that “you’ve got what it takes,” your submitted manuscript keeps coming back to you as if it is a boomerang instead of a valuable mine of information.

Perhaps, in desperation, you’ve checked out self-publishing and found out just how expensive a venture it can be. Most “vanity presses” require minimal print runs of at least 500 copies, and even that amount will cost you thousands of dollars. Some presses’ minimal run starts at 1,000 to 2,000 copies. And that’s just for the printing and binding. Add in distribution, shipping, and promotional costs and – well, you do the math. Even if you wanted to go this route, you may not have that kind of money to risk.

Let’s say you already have an Internet business with a quality website and a quality product. An E-Book is one of the most powerful ways to promote your business while educating people with the knowledge you already possess as a business owner of a specific product or service.

For example, let’s say that you’ve spent the last twenty-five years growing and training bonsai trees, and now you’re ready to share your knowledge and experience. An E-Book is the perfect way to reach the largest audience of bonsai enthusiasts.

E-Books will not only promote your business – they will help you make a name for yourself and your company, and establish you as an expert in your field. You may even find that you have enough to say to warrant a series of E-Books. Specific businesses are complicated and often require the different aspects to be divided in order for the reader to get the full story.

Perhaps your goals are more finely tuned in terms of the E-Book scene. You may want to build a whole business around writing and publishing E-Books. Essentially, you want to start an e-business. You are thinking of setting up a website to promote and market your E-Books. Maybe you’re even thinking of producing an E-zine.

One of the most prevalent reasons people read E-Books is to find information about how to turn their Internet businesses into a profit-making machine. And these people are looking to the writers of E-Books to provide them with new ideas and strategies because writers of E-Books are usually people who understand the new cyberspace world we now live in. E-Book writers are experts in Internet marketing campaigns and the strategies of promoting and distributing E-Books. The cyberspace community needs its E-Books to be successful so that more and more E-Books will be written.

You may want to create affiliate programs that will also market your E-Book. Affiliates can be people or businesses worldwide that will all be working to sell your E-Books. Think about this. Do you see a formula for success here?

Figure out what your subject matter is, and then narrow it down. Your goal is to aim for specificity. Research what’s out there already, and try to find a void that your E-Book might fill.

What about an E-Book about a wedding cake business? Or an E-Book about caring for elderly pets? How about the fine points of collecting ancient pottery?

You don’t have to have three masters degrees to write about your subject. People need advice that is easy to read and easily understood. Parents need advice for dealing with their teenagers. College students need to learn good study skills – quickly. The possibilities are endless.

After you’ve written your E-book

Getting your E-Book out is going to be your focus once you’ve finished writing it, just as it is with print books. People will hesitate to buy any book from an author they’ve never heard of. Wouldn’t you?

The answer is simple: give it away! You will see profits in the form of promoting your own business and getting your name out. You will find affiliates who will ask you to place their links within your E-Book, and these affiliates will in turn go out and make your name known. Almost every single famous E-Book author has started out this way.

This doesnt mean you should stop here. Eventually, you will move into where most of the wealth mountains are selling them, and then maybe their Resell Rights and Private Label licenses!

Another powerful tool to attract people to your E-Book is to make it interactive. Invent something for them to do within the book rather than just producing pages that contain static text. Let your readers fill out questionnaires, forms, even crossword puzzles geared to testing their knowledge on a particular subject. Have your readers hit a link that will allow them to recommend your book to their friends and associates. Or include an actual order form so at the end of their reading journey, they can eagerly buy your product.

When people interact with books, they become a part of the world of that book. The fact is just as true for books in print as it is for E-Books.

That’s why E-Books are so essential. Not only do they provide a forum for people to learn and make sense of their own thoughts, but they can also serve to promote your business at the same time.

How’s Toll Free Number Relative to Ecommerce?

Sometimes skimping on things can save you good money. But skimping is not always the wisest business strategy. For example, I couldve written this article in the windows program notepad as opposed to Microsoft Word, and saved a good $500 and never had to buy the latest version of Microsoft Office However, wouldnt it be worth the $500 if the improved impression of professionalism put forth in all of my writings some how garnered ten times that in profit? Would you have read this far if I had unknowingly published this article with a horribly obvious typo in the title? Thats right an insignificant error caused by saving money can actually COST you money in the long run.

## Impression Is Everything! ##

If you have spent months developing a beautiful ecommerce website to give people the impression that you are the safest choice for whatever product or service youre trying to sell them, then itd be pretty stupid to have all of that professionalism dismissed by a simple mistake: assuming youre going to SAVE money by not getting a toll free number!

The fact is, the sight of a toll free number is something that subconsciously stirs an idea of professionalism something were accustomed to from corporate America. Area codes are for calling your relatives and friends, after all. The phone prefix 800 or 877 or 888 for some reason, as if by magic, stirs in us the image of a phone operator in a tall skyscraper that deals with hundreds of clients a day someone that doesnt make their living off of ripping people off. The appearance of professionalism is the embodiment of confidence within the business world.

## Okay, so youre convinced now what? ##

Not having a toll free number for your ecommerce business (no matter how small) will cost you more in the long run than the short term savings will save you. The best part is though that toll free numbers are not NEARLY as expensive as one might be inclined to think! In fact, at the moment the prices for toll free numbers are as low as 2.7c/min

## What other services can I benefit from? ##

It just so happens that toll free numbers are not the only affordable telecommunications service that might be useful to the owner of an ecommerce web site. Conference calling (for those teleseminars), low long distance rates, broadband or t1 internet access, and more are all examples of things that can be gotten more cost effectively off the internet via web pages.

Why Forums Are Awesome for Marketers

In most forums registered users are allowed to add a signature line underneath their name. Your signature will show up each time you make a post, which works in your favour, because in this way you will be subtlety promoting your business without spamming anyone. It is important that you post to the forum frequently, some forum posters don’t bother to look at the websites of users unless they are regular users of the forum, and then they may eventually get curious. You have to build your reputation at a forum as a trusted reputable source, someone who is in tune with the online business world.

Another thing is if there was a discussion and you just happened to mention that you have a website, some people may decide to check it out just out of curiosity. It doesn’t matter why they chose to do it, the important thing is that you provided enough interest to make someone want to check your website in order to obtain more information. But you must be careful when doing this, some chat forums may consider this to be spamming, your best bet may be to ask the person if you could pm (private message) them the information about your website, this way you wont run the risk of spamming anyone.

Another way a forum may help you draw traffic to your website is to casually weave your business into conversations as appropriate. For example, if you’re promoting website domains and hosting, and someone posted that they want to create their own website, but they didn’t know where to begin, you can casually mention you know of a place where they can get reasonably priced domains and hosting, you can then just ask the poster to pm you for more information, when they pm you can than give them your website.

Also you don’t always have to promote your product or website. If you show that you are knowledgeable about business, the other chat forum posters will take note which works to your advantage because now the posters are more likely to want to click on the link in your signature.

Posting Blogs and articles are a great way to drive traffic to your website. They create back links to your website. Blogs, articles, and forum posting are all very subtle but powerful forms of marketing. Chat forum posting is a very effective form of marketing, you just have to stick to the rules of the chat forum, especially the main rule NO SPAMMING!

Build your reputation of someone that’s knowledgeable and experienced, keep your marketing approach subtle but informative, let your signature do most of your advertising, make sure you signature line grabs the peoples attention. Just remember subtle yet powerful.
